ORGANIZATION: United Way of Martin County/AmeriCorps Seniors

Volunteer United/AmeriCorps Seniors Program is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.

The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to inspire environmental stewardship of Florida's coastal environment.

Exhibit Guides are needed to conduct morning or afternoon programs. Duties include interacting with guests in the touch tank and aquariums and around exhibits. This opportunity is outdoors under cover and involves standing during shift. Must love working with children and adults.

Good customer service skills are required and public speaking experience is helpful. Volunteers may be 16+. Four month minimum commitment please.

Training and background check required at agency expense.

Hours: Friday - Sunday 10:00am - 1:00pm or 1:00pm - 4:00pm
