Many children in The Bridge's Youth Advocacy Program are waiting to be matched with a mentor. Be a friend, teacher, caring listener, coach and role model for a child between the ages of 7 and 15. The Bridge provides screening, training and all the support you'll need to help a child grow socially and emotionally. Must be able to pass a DCFS background check, have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record.

The Bridge's mission is to help young people and their families achieve social and emotional health.
The Bridge serves children from birth through age 17 and their families by providing counseling, mentoring, parenting classses, crisis intervention for runaway, locked out or homeless youth and community education.
