The Bridge Youth and Family Services

Be a friend, teacher, caring listener, coach and role model for a child between the ages of 7 and 15. The Bridge provides screening, training and all the support you'll need to help a child grow socially and emotionally. Must be able to pass a DCFS background check, have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record. A one-year commitment to the program is required.

***Covid19 Update: We are currently not holding in-person activities and therefore not assigning new one-on-one pairings, so new volunteer participation is limited.

Description

The Bridge serves children from birth through age 17 and their families by providing counseling, mentoring, parenting classses, crisis intervention for runaway, locked out or homeless youth and community education.
