Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma- Marin Safety Committee to lead the orgainizations safety stratagy while moblizing staff and volunteers to carryout critical safety messages. The Safety Committee has been granted the responsibility and authority by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin board of directors to identify safety needs, recommend new and enhanced operating policies and practices and make critical safety-related decisions as necessary. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin provides high-quality, affordable, and accessible programs and services to 10,000+ youth per year!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide input and guidance to the organization's strategic plan, specifically as it relates to member safety.

Review existing safety-related contracts and partnerships to ensure they meet the growing safety needs of the organization.

Coordinate with safety partner organizations as needed, to align resources and services.

Participate in a Club Facility Safety Assessment visit at Club location(s).

Carefully review all organizational safety reports and data, including

Annual online Child Safety Assessment.

Member survey report (physical and emotional safety).

Club Facility Safety Assessment.

All written accident and incident reports.

Time Commitment:

75% of regular safety committee meetings.

Participate in the annual safety planning session.

Attend one or more organizational safety trainings annually

Participate in Boys & Girls Club Readiness Day in September
