This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) International Services Development (ISD) team. Specifically Global Teaming Initiative. This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. Between summer 2022 and June 2024, the Global Teaming Initiative (GTI) will establish and support seven year-long mentoring partnerships between Red Cross National Societies (NS) of priority Countries and high-performing ARC Regions. Each partnership will aim at strengthening the NS organizational and management capacity and provide a unique volunteering opportunity to grow cultural leadership and competencies.
In coordination with appropriate ISD Units, support GTI HQ teams with administrative activities (travel, expenses, etc) Actively participate in GTI meetings as required Perform other job-related duties, as assigned.
Required:
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
- Solid proficiency of the Microsoft Suite (Teams, Sharepoint) and Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Enthusiastic about Red Cross mission and programs
- Cultural sensitivity to diverse audiences
- Highly independent, work well both individually and with others 2 yrs steady-state experience with ARC 2 yrs min experience in administrative support
- Submission of resume Preferred: Familiarity with RCRC Movement Language skills (Spanish, other)
- Previous experience with ISD
