Are you a crafty person who enjoys spending time making hand-made gift cards in the comfort of your
home? If so, ProMedica hospice would love to talk with you about becoming a Hospice Volunteer !
Our "Peek-In" Volunteers hand make Care Cards, write a nice note on the card, and peek in our patients as your schedule allow who reside at a nursing home, assisted living residence or private residence. There is also the option to only make the cards , and someone else picks them up and delivers them.
Hospice volunteering will give you an opportunity to truly make a difference in another's life. Your presence will bring the important gift of connection and affirmation to someone in their last phase of life.
You will receive an orientation to hospice concepts and further support for your administrative and patient visit efforts.
There are additional onboarding requirements which discussed during the initial meeting to discuss your potential interest in our program.
Please contact our hospice volunteer coordinator Kathleen OConnor for further information. She can be reached either phone (610-266-0134)
