Are you looking for an opportunity to serve your community ? Are you considering a career in healthcare either in social work, psychology, or spiritual care (pastorate, ministry of sick, hospice, nursing facilities, or hospital) settings. ProMedica Hospice will provide you the training and support to explore career options while making a true difference in the lives of others!

Students will have the opportunity to learn about utilizing a holistic approach to patient care, attend interdisciplinary meetings while learning about grief and loss, gerontology, family systems and so much more! The student will have direct interactions with patients and families while collaborating with the hospice volunteer coordinator, and assigned staff members.

A thorough training is provided free of charge. There are some additional requirements for a background check (free of charge), 2-step TB tests (free of charge), and COVID vaccination.

The age requirements are for office work (16 years and up), and to have patient contact (18 years and up). If there is interest from any student groups, and one under the age of 16 we have other volunteer opportunities and would love to talk with you !!
