Interested in helping cats in the community?
Join Merced County Sheriff's Animal Services in safely returning community cats to their respective neighborhood-- this will help Merced reach the goal of spaying/neutering, and vaccinating 720 community cats annually!
By volunteering as a Cat Transporter, you'll use your own vehicle to pick up spayed/neutered cats at Animal Services and transport them back to their home communities to be released. These transports can typically be done within 1-2 hours and are currently done on Thursdays (but may also be available other days from time to time).
Please see all the details here: https://bit.ly/MercedCatTransport and contact email@example.com if you are interested in volunteering or learning more.
Just a few hours of your time can save lives!
About Best Friends Animal Society
5001 Angel Canyon Rd., Kanab, UT 84741, US
Every day, nearly 2,000 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters. But every day, there's something all of us can do to help save those animals. Together, we can Save Them All.
About Best Friends Animal Society:
Best Friends Animal Society is the only national animal welfare organization focused exclusively on ending the killing of dogs and cats in America's shelters. An authority and leader in the no-kill movement since its founding in 1984, Best Friends runs the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals, as well as life-saving programs in partnership with rescue groups and shelters across the country. Since its founding, Best Friends has helped reduce the number of animals killed in shelters from 17 million per year to less than 1 million. Best Friends has the knowledge, technical expertise and on-the-ground network to end the killing and Save Them All(tm).
