AccentCare Hospice is a nationwide hospice provider that serves patients in Pasco County. We are looking for compassionate volunteers who were/are in the military to connect with our veteran patients and improve their quality of life. This can be as simple as making a phone call from your own home, or visiting the patient to engage in various activities such as reading, games, life review, and more. AccentCare Hospice is a Level IV We Honor Veterans partner with the VA to provide individualized end of life care. Your experience in the military makes you uniquely qualified to help provide care at the end of a veteran's life, and is invaluable. Certified therapy animals are welcome to visit with the patients as well!
Volunteers are an integral part of the AccentCare Hospice team, providing compassion and care when it is needed most. The heart and hands of hospice, they provide a special kind of caring to patients, families, and staff through helping to make the hospice experience manageable and rewarding.

AccentCare Hospice has been serving patients in Pasco County since April 15th, 2020. We provide in-home end of life care wherever the patient resides, be it a private residence, assisted living or skilled nursing facility, or memory care. Our staff includes physicians, nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains, music therapists, and volunteers who all work together to care for the patient and their family. We believe that everyone deserves a dignified and peaceful death, and that no one should die alone.
