The Olathe Hospice House is a lovely environment where our staff and volunteers care for hospice patients and their families. Would you bring the joy of music to us?
You'll be able to:
- Play a variety of complete songs
- Provide your own music - song choices would be yours, with some limitations
- Choose volunteer shifts that fit your schedule (you'll play 30-60 minutes)
- Work independently - you won't be micromanaged
You'll need to:
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Play for our volunteer coordinator who will determine if your playing style is the right fit for our hospice house
- Pass a background check
- Have a sense of responsibility/commitment - you'll need to be there when you're scheduled

Description
Olathe Health Ambassadors, what we like to call our volunteers, work in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Their talents are used at information desks, reception areas, patient registration, surgery family room, business offices, hospice care, and the Gift Shops - just to name a few. They also help with special projects such as Community Blood Drives and fundraising events.
At Olathe Health, our Ambassadors and staff work together to make each patient's stay as comfortable as possible.
