Kick off your 4th of July weekend with the Accokeek Foundation at Piscataway Park!
Come on Friday, July 1, 2022 to show the shore some love and give trash the boot! Efforts will be focused along the Pumpkin Ash trail, the fishing and kayak piers, and around inlets along the Riverview Trail.
- Volunteers will record data about the collection, sort recyclables from trash, and collect litter.
- Volunteers must be able to walk moderate distances and travel along the uneven terrain of the shoreline.
- All ages are welcome, but youth must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the duration of the event.
- Registration is required for participation, and there will be volunteer forms to fill out upon arrival.
