ADMINISTRATIVE AIDE INTERN
Reports to:Program Director
Location: Hybrid, NYC and Atlanta, Georgia, or fully virtual
Options:Summer Internship, Fall Internship, Spring Internship
Internship summary:Administrative Assistant Intern’s focus will gain experience in a variety of I'RAISE's business functions. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic group in a non-profit organization dedicated to serving underserved and under-resourced communities and help families overcome obstacles and challenges in their children's life.
Functions:
- Assist with office and administrative duties including calendar management
- Assist in the organization and planning of programs and events
- Schedule meetings, prioritize requests and take notes during high-level meetings
- Prepare presentation materials at a high-level and maintain organized filing structure
- Learn the inner workings of our organization by providing support across multiple functions (Marketing, Executives, Brand, Program Management, etc.)
- Assist with various research projects for I'RAISE
- Develop procedures to ensure functional office operations
- Provide diversified administrative support
- Assist with special projects
- The candidate must have the ability to work with and maintain confidential information
- Current college or university student

I’RAISE Boys & Girls International Corporation is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization in New York City founded in 2012. We have been providing free tutoring, mentoring and coaching services, virtual performance classes, college preparation program, nutrition workshops, and parent education program. As a minority led non-profit organization with leaders that are women of colors, we feel so much pride and we are so proud being able to provide beneficial resources to the children in under-resourced areas in New York City in-person and multiple-states virtually. And we have been successful in providing these services because of our volunteers. Come volunteer with us as we strive to make positive changes in children's life and be a safe haven that they can rely on!
