Help needed - 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Mon - Fri

First Presbyterian Church of Hayward provides resources and services for the homeless communities of Castro Valley and Hayward.

Upon arrival, check in with the resource center attendant in the at the main gate. Volunteers are required to wear closed toed shoes, masks, gloves, remain socially distant and follow safety and hygiene protocols.

Standard duties include:

Food preparation: Heating and preparing simple meals, such as salad or sandwiches.

Service: Serve food to guests in a courteous and attentive manner.

Clean-up: Washing dishes, kitchen and appliances, sanitizing surfaces, etc.
