Upon arrival, check in with the shelter attendant for instructions. Volunteers are required to wear masks and gloves, remain socially distant and follow safety and hygiene protocols. Standard duties include: Monitoring the shower list, distribution clean clothing and/or distributing lunches. REQUIRED: Closed toed shoes that also completely contain the heels of the feet. No Crocs or slip-ons allowed. Print, sign and bring the attached waiver with you to volunteer. OPTIONAL: Work gloves, and personal refillable water bottle. Questions? Upon arrival, check in with the resource center attendant in the at the main gate. Volunteers are required to wear closed toed shoes, masks, gloves, remain socially distant and follow safety and hygiene protocols. Standard duties include: Food preparation: Heating and preparing simple meals, such as salad or sandwiches. Service: Serve food to guests in a courteous and attentive manner. Breakfast: Please deliver a "grab and go" style breakfast for 20 people by 6:00 am to the kitchen. Expenses are reimbursed up to $75 with a valid receipt. Donations are greatly appreciated. Lunch: Please deliver a donated, "grab and go" or "brown bag" style lunch for 30 people by 11:30 am. No reimbursement available. Donations are greatly appreciated. Dinner: Please deliver a warmed, ready-to-serve dinner for 35 people by 6:30 pm. Alternately, you may deliver a "heat and serve" style meal by 5:30pm.
