Job Overview:

Global Offsite Care is seeking a Website Editor to join our team as a volunteer. The Website Editor will be responsible for ensuring the WordPress-based website is up-to-date, user-friendly, and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will have experience in website editing, a passion for healthcare and technology, and knowledge of WordPress.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and update website content on WordPress to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Ensure the WordPress website is easy to navigate and user-friendly
  • Manage and update WordPress plugins, themes, and other features as needed
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the website aligns with the overall marketing strategy
  • Monitor website traffic and analytics to identify areas for improvement
  • Continuously improve WordPress website design and functionality
  • Ensure WordPress website content is optimized for search engines
  • Ensure WordPress website is mobile-responsive and accessible

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in website editing or a related field
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and WordPress
  • Familiarity with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for healthcare and technology
