Hospice Companion Volunteers Needed!

ORGANIZATION: Envision Hospice

The mission of Envision Hospice is to increase the quality of life and independence of patients on hospice through principles of compassion, integrity, knowledge, and uncompromising service.

We are looking for volunteers to provide patient and family member support for those on hospice. Patient focused volunteers will sit with patients to keep them company, hear stories about their lives, or even just watch a movie together.

Training is provided, and volunteers are not expected or permitted to provide hands-on medical support. You're simply there to be a bright spot in someone's day and provide them with compassionate companionship.

Volunteer assignments are always at will - you can volunteer as often or little as your schedule allows, and take on patients as close or far from your home as you are willing to drive. We are looking for volunteers throughout Kitsap, Pierce, King, and Thurston Counties. All training is virtual.
