Envision is the primary 4-star hospice in the South Sound with patients in Kitsap, Pierce, Thurston and King counties. Many of our patients are veterans and long for the company of another vet. That's where you come in! We are a forward thinking company with a deep commitment to our veterans and their families. We are looking for vets that would like to make an impact in another vets life. Often it requires just sitting beside the patient and talking. Other times it may require helping with a small project. Each patient is unique and each volunteer opportunity is as well. So, why not join us and make a difference? We provide all training and ongoing support for all volunteers. Training is starting soon, either send us an email, or call 350-360-4875! We will save you a seat.

Hospice provides care to patients and families when the patient is expected to die within six months. This does not mean that all die in that time period, often patients stay on hospice for much longer. The magical part of hospice is the way that it involves community members as volunteers. There are many different things that a volunteer may do with a patient. Sometimes it is sitting bedside and chatting, sometimes it is helping with light housekeeping and other times it is watching tv or listening to music. The opportunities are only limited by imagination! We require that you are a kind and compassionate person who wants to be a part of this amazing work. We will provide you with all the necessary training and support! Envision Hospice is the leading hospice company in the South Sound and we have patients in Kitsap, King, Pierce, and King counties.
