NON-MEDICAL VOLUNTEERS MAY PROVIDE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:

Friendly visits with patients
Writing letters/making cards
Reading to patients
Listening presence
Affirmation of personhood
Companionship
Sitting Vigil/11th hour
Patient caregiver relief

Description

At Compassus our volunteers are able to support the patient and family by providing friendly visits, reading to patients, office tasks, listening, companionship, caregiver relief, assist with grief support groups, emotional and spiritual support, pet therapy, veteran visitor, and if you have a special talent you would like to share.
