Shelters are held to a very high standard of cleaning, so sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize! Laundry is also included. Our officers clean every day but volunteers can be the greatest defense of cleaning multiple times. We have free wifi so you can jam out to music while cleaning kennels.

Gratiot County Animal Control believes that ever paw counts. We protect and serve humans and animals together. We strive to find homes for every animal that is in our care.
Description
The Animal Control Office enforces the State of Michigan Dog Laws, handles public safety issues dealing with rabies, and issues dog licenses. The Gratiot County Animal Shelter is managed by only two Animal Control Officers and an Animal Shelter Officer. We do not do wildlife control.
