Grants are essential for the shelter's ability to function and provide quality care for the animals. However, before submitting, approval is required by the shelter.

Walking dogs is greatly appreciated to help caged pets obtain additional exercise, fresh air and human contact. Additional help for our lovely canine friends are washing, cleaning, and relaxing with them. We have free-wifi so pull up a chair and watch Netflix or read to them and practice our speaking skills!

Want to volunteer and catch up on your reading? Come on by to the shelter! Volunteers will sit in chair or cushion outside the animal kennel and read aloud for 30 minutes. Reading Buddies trains socialization and good manners for the pets knowing that home life does not need to be all play and all attention on the pets.

Visits with the cats and kittens are to help socialize, care, comfort, pet, brush, or simple provide some "lap" time. Cats are very susceptible to stress. You can help reduce their stress and keep them mentally healthy by providing them with interactions. Additional help for our lovely feline friends are cleaning, and relaxing with them. We have free-wifi so pull up a chair and watch Netflix or read to them and practice our speaking skills!
