You can make a big difference for a hospice patient and their family just by making a friendly visit! Your companionship, conversation and kindness have a huge impact, helping people who are going through a difficult time feel encouraged and less alone.
What would you be doing in your visit? You might play cards, read to someone, listen to music together, work on a craft project or a jigsaw puzzle or just sit and talk. Our patients really enjoy visitors and soon they will start to ask when you're coming back. Let us help you be a superhero to a local hospice patients.
Mid-Michigan is concerned about the safety of our volunteers, staff, patients, and families. All precautions are taken, including personal protective equipment and screening.
