We are looking for an energetic, self-directed, and organized Online Events Manager to coordinate the conceptualization and execution of Human Health Project (HHP) peer-to-peer online events. The event manager will be tasked with researching and communicating with potential event speakers, initiating advertising plans in collaboration with our Marketing team, and managing and hosting live Zoom panel events. You will play a pivotal role in growing the reach of our organization and connecting with thought leaders in the patient advocacy community.
Ideal candidates for this position should be creative and web savvy. Ultimately, the outstanding Online Event Manager should have a firm grasp of the life cycle of a virtual event, be comfortable contacting potential speakers, and understand the importance of maintaining organized records.
Online Event Manager Responsibilities:
- Work with team members across HHP to determine future event topics.
- Research thought leaders and online groups related to event topic(s).
- Communicate with potential speakers and ultimately confirm at least 3 panelists per event.
- Schedule virtual calls with panelists and other HHP team members.
- Collaborate with Marketing to initiate advertising efforts.
- Schedule, monitor, and host virtual panels on online platforms like Zoom.
- Collect information and timely update post-event reports.
Online Event Manager Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of digital event coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Firm grasp of business communications etiquette.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies.
- Broad knowledge of best practices related to event coordination.
