Do you enjoy volunteering in group settings? Are you artistic or crafty? Bilingual?
Are you a dancer or into a fitness practice? Are you a musician or singer? Do you know how to play or tune a piano?
Brighten the lives of older adults in your community!
Older adults attend Fairfax County Senior Centers to connect, socialize, move, create, and learn. These programs rely upon volunteers to help instruct or lead groups, or assist with activities.
Provide volunteer support to center participants in any number of ways, at various Fairfax County senior centers. Interested in volunteers with skills in: languages, painting, drawing, watercolor, crafts, jewelry-making, knitting, crochet, pottery, fitness, dance, playing an instrument, singing, or vocal instruction. Open to many other talents, too. Flexible, during weekdays.

The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The goal of the AAA is to improve quality of life and promote independent living for older adults. We are a partnership of Department of Family Services, Neighborhood and Community Services and the Health Department.

Our mission is to support older adults and adults with disabilities in a variety of ways. We provide volunteer services to help people to remain in their own homes/communities and improve their quality of life.
