HELP OUT: Food Donation Driver

See this food delivery van?! It's in need of a volunteer driver!

The PATH San Diego region is in need of volunteer drivers to pick up food donations twice a month. The food would be picked up from the Target in Point Loma and delivered to their supportive housing site located in Downtown San Diego.

These food donations help cut down food waste and support PATH's residents at our interim housing facility. You can also use your own vehicle if you prefer!

Onboarding Process: Volunteers will need to fill out PATH's volunteer application, consent to a background check, and complete a tuberculosis (TB) test prior to starting their role. Volunteers will need to have a CA license and proof of insurance. After completing these steps, volunteers will be invited to PATH's downtown location for a tour and quick orientation.

Time Commitment: 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month between 8:00am and 11:00am. The food pick-up and delivery can take up to 2 hours.

Physical Requirements: This volunteer driver will also help load/unload the food donations so they should be able to lift up to 25lbs.
