Summer Volunteering - 2 hours per week for Kaiser Hospice

ORGANIZATION: Kaiser Permanente South Bay Hospice

Kaiser Hospice Services

Kaiser Hospice cares for patients who are terminally ill. After our hospice patients die, we support their family members for one year. We provide grief support services to help them process, move forward and heal. We provide educational materials about grieving, which we mail out each month. We are seeking a volunteer who can prepare the mailings each week. This involves collating the packets, stuffing them into envelopes, and placing pre-printed labels on the envelopes. You will do the work in our Santa Clara Hospice Business Offices (near Great America).
Our expectation would be 2-3 hours per week, any week day that works for you. Our hope is that can volunteer for June, July, and August, but we are very flexible. And of course, you can take off time for vacations with family and friends. Volunteers 18 or older are welcome. Thank you for considering!
