You can gain professional experience while learning to assist the military with financial requests by volunteering with Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society(NMCRS). Volunteers learn how to help the military community with personal financial skills and encourage individual financial responsibility.
Build your skills in teambuilding, customer service, business administration, and leadership. Grow your knowledge of the military pay system and local resources. Some military knowledge preferred, but not required.
At the front desk, Our Client Services Assistants maintain our front desk, provide customer service, perform various business administration tasks, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and process small loan applications. No previous experienced required! Training is provided for all volunteers and includes improving the soft skills needed to collaborate with clients.
Youronline training may be completed at home while on the job training is completed in weekly 3-hour shifts during the workday. While volunteering for the military community, NMCRS provides some childcare reimbursement to give you a break and time to focus on your career development.
