Would you like to stock food & hand out food at The HUB of Hope in Fullerton?

We have open shifts available on select days from 9:30am-12pm & 12:30-4:30pm.

Volunteers need to be an adult aged 18 or older, be able to lift at least 15 lbs. and wear closed toed shoes. Face masks are currently required during food distribution shifts due to high cases of COVID.

Spanish speakers are appreciated.

Tasks include helping with client registration, assisting clients to select shelf stable & fresh food, breaking down boxes, cleaning the work area, putting away the line stanchions and canopies, and other tasks related to the food bank.

The Pathways of Hope HUB of Hope offers emergency food and hygiene items to homeless and low-income families and individuals as well as a walk-up center for individuals and families seeking housing assistance.


COVID has impacted the ability of many Orange County residents to acquire food. Pathways of Hope is a nonprofit organization that serves families and individuals throughout North Orange County.

For almost 50 years Pathways of Hope has been providing food, shelter and support and prevention services to the hungry, homeless and marginalized through assistance of local congregations, volunteers, businesses and grants from foundations and government agencies.

Description

Pathways of Hope is committed to rebuilding lives of the hungry and homeless in Orange County through Housing, Outreach, Prevention, and Engagement. Once a family or individual has become homeless, the path back to stability can be very challenging. Pathways of Hope offers several housing options to fit different situations, all with the goal of helping families and individuals re-gain permanent housing as quickly as possible. Pathways of Hope operates a resource center, the HUB of Hope, which offers emergency food and hygiene items to homeless and low-income families and individuals in Orange County.   • Once a week is appreciated, but one time volunteering is also welcome!
