SCORE is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that helps small businesses succeed
through free one-on-one mentoring and small group educational sessions. By working
with SCORE you immediately benefit your community by improving your local economy
through small business success.

We are looking for a volunteer Chapter Executive Secretary to ensure the efficient and
smooth day-to-day operation of our chapter. Most of the volunteer work can be
completed remotely and at your convenience.

Duties of the Executive Secretary include:

 Serve on the Executive Committee (EC), helping provide direction for the chapter
 Create EC meeting agenda and maintain minutes
 Manage chapter meetings including invitations and attendance
 Assist with interviewing and onboarding new members
 Provide support to our members
 Assist in the matching of clients with volunteer mentors
 Manage google drive materials and membership
 Create and distribute monthly reports

Skills required:

 Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
simultaneously
 Technical skills should include: Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Google
Drive and Gmail. Experience in Salesforce helpful but not required
 Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
 Attention to detail and problem solving skills
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
