Lunchbox Express is back for Summer 2023!

Jewish Family Service is excited to welcome volunteers back to our traditional Lunchbox Express program of distributing healthy lunches directly to hungry children in our community.

Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday throughout the summer to distribute fresh lunches and children's books to kids who rely on school-based free and reduced-price lunch programs during the school year.

The commitment is flexible, and youth ages 12-17 can volunteer with an adult. It’s a great summer volunteer opportunity for individuals, families, and friends, as well as corporate, civic, and youth groups. All volunteers must submit the JFS application, complete the online training, and all adults ages 18 and over are required to submit a background check.

Interested? Submit our application: https://www.volgistics.com/appform/981458887

Select "Lunchbox Express" under "Assignment Preferences," and we’ll be in touch with more info and next steps!
