Bringing a compassionate heart to someone who is recovering from an illness or accident can make a huge difference in the healing process. Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing is receiving volunteers.

Description

The Reading Health Sytem is comprised the Reading Hospital, Reading Rehabilitation Hospital, the McGlinn Cancer Institute, Miller Regional Heart Center, Emergency Services, Level II Trauma Center, Beginnings Maternity Center, Reading Health Physician Network, Reading School of Health Sciences and The Highlands at Wyomissing a retirement community. There are volunteers for every skill set and heart's desire.

In addition to providing top notch health care we serve the wider community through The Friends of Reading Hospital whose fundraising event proceeds support innovative projects within the hospital and community.

  • Must be at least 18
  • 2 hours minimum per week
  • Complete volunteer onboarding which includes PA criminal background check, COVID vaccination, proof of flu vaccine (during the season) and online education
