The Mission of Reading Health System is to provide compassionate, accessible, high quality, cost effective health care to the community; to promote health; to educate healthcare professionals; and to participate in appropriate clinical research.

Description

The Reading Health Sytem is comprised the Reading Hospital, Reading Rehabilitation Hospital, the McGlinn Cancer Institute, Miller Regional Heart Center, Emergency Services, Level II Trauma Center, Beginnings Maternity Center, Reading Health Physician Network, Reading School of Health Sciences and The Highlands at Wyomissing a retirement community. There are volunteers for every skill set and heart's desire.

In addition to providing top notch health care we serve the wider community through The Friends of Reading Hospital whose fundraising event proceeds support innovative projects within the hospital and community.
