ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army - San Jose, CA

Adult Volunteers: Saturdays only, 7am-10am, 1 volunteer needed each Saturday.

Description: Help setup, serve & clean-up for Breakfast, (no cooking involved).

Facemasks strongly recommended but not mandatory. Inside kitchen: must wear hair net, gloves (we provide.)

Appropriate Attire: Mandatory closed toe shoes, no sandals, flipflops or open toe shoes allowed. Hair nets and plastic gloves provided and used. Short or long sleeve shirts, not spaghetti straps, sleeveless, tank top type shirts or short shorts/dresses or skirts; must be appropriate length (longer not short).

Required:

  • Register on-line @ siliconvalley.salvationarmy.org, click on "2024 EHK Saturday Breakfast Helper")
  • Attend Volunteer Orientation (25-30 minutes) at least 3 days before your first day.
  • Clearance on Megan's Law Registry
  • Initial USDA Forms
  • Must be 18 years or older
