Are you a veteran, family member of a veteran or someone who would like to help support our military. We are looking for a few good volunteers to help us at the Military Entrance Processing Station.
Early Risers would be a good fit as we meet with recruits and their families to provide support and Red Cross information and fill out an informational card that we enter into our Hero's Care Network Database.
- Liaise on site with the MEPS staff to determine the best means for the Red Cross to connect with the recruits and families.
- Provide Red Cross preparedness information to the recruits and their families.
- Engage with the recruits to fill out family contact cards
- Ensure cards are processed into the Red Cross casework system
- Provide additional support, as appropriate.

- Must be at least 18
- 10 to 20 hours a week between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Subject to change based on internship requirements to be determined by the Program Manager.
- Required: All volunteers and employees will follow current Red Cross COVID-19 protocols. Strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills Able to work with diverse populations Recommended: Knowledge/experience with the military
