The American Red Cross has so many varied opportunities for volunteers. As a Disaster Action Team Member I respond to disasters that range from local residential fires to floods, wildfires, tornado/hurricanes...all types of incidents that can cause someone to be displaced from their home. I teach fire safety to children and adults, install smoke detectors and actively recruit new volunteers. Whether you can give one day or thirty days of your time, there is a job for you. There are volunteers who work the office, sheltering, feeding, warehousing, distribution, reunification, health services, mental health services, spiritual care, disaster assessment, technology, driving emergency response vehicles, working with government agencies, community partnerships, in-kind donations, the experience is limited only by what you want to do personally.

Firstly,I think the propose of this organization is helping people,if I recommend this to others,there are more people to help the people in need.Secondly,volunteering makes our life colorful,I want make others people's life interesting.Thirdly,if I work together with classmates,this will make our relation closer and I will gain other good friends.I am new to my school,so I eager friends so much.And I believe this organization is a awesome one.After I join the job several times,I will raise an announcement in my school to tell others to join or organize someone if my schoolmates want to go.
