Come join Arts & Scraps at Ford Fireworks 2022 on the beautiful Detroit riverfront! We are seeking volunteers to assist us in set-up and breakdown of our station. More importantly, we need patient and creative volunteers to help kids and parents with craft creation. This is a great opportunity to inspire creativity as well as to attend the most spectacular fireworks show in Metro Detroit.
We currently have two shifts available but if you'd like to join us for the entire length of the event, you will have a half-hour break.

For over 30 years, Arts & Scraps has reimagined recycled materials to inspire people of all ages to think, create and learn.
Description
Arts & Scraps is open to the public to stuff bags with safe, accessible recycled industrial materials. We also host educational and curriculum-based field trips, on site workshops for children and adults and create art and curriculum kits for 10 to 35 students. We bring activity tables to events throughout the Metro Detroit Area. Our warehouse uses volunteers of all abilities to sort, pack and prepare materials for our programs and learning kits.
