The organization is looking for Public Relation Associate and offers internship programs Suppose you are also concerned about children’s mental health and want to learn more about the SEL program. Join us! Be a member of Resilience, Inc.

The Public Relations Associate will be responsible for creating press releases that will be edited by Resilience, Inc.’s writing team. This role requires the intern to establish an email dialogue with news stations in 30 major markets in order to create a distribution channel for celebrity endorsements of the Resilience, Inc curriculum to improve mental health throughout the country.

Experience is not required but professional writing/communication experience is preferred.

The Public Relations Associate will establish a network of contacts, develop relationships with them, and deploy our message to the world. As a Public Relations Associate, you will be responsible for working under the supervision of the Director of Marketing & Advertising.

Skills that will be developed: Marketing/advertising, writing short, concise, and clear messages.

Learning objective:

1) Students will improve their professional communication skills, both verbal and written, and will have the opportunity to work with professional broadcasters throughout the country.

2) Students will understand the elements of a marketing and advertising plan and will develop skills to execute that plan.

Internship Details:

The internship requires a minimum of a three-month commitment, with a minimum of 5-10 hours per week with flexibility during exams week. Those pursuing school credit for the internship will be required to document their weekly contributions in order to receive academic credit.

Academic credit may be available through your school for this experience.

Interns have the opportunity to earn a letter of recommendation upon completion of the internship. Plus, interns will earn work experience, have the ability to help others, and have the opportunity to change the world by bringing social-emotional learning and mental health tools to the world. Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.
