Our community engagement committee meets monthly via video call. Together we explore ideas for how to best deliver Komen's mission throughout the year leveraging Komen's various campaigns: GO PINK for the Cure, MORE THAN PINK Walk, Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Worship In Pink. You'll learn more about these campaigns and be part of growing awareness and support of them in the Northern CA community.

Komen will host a MORE THAN PINK Walk on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the San Francisco Zoo & Gardens and together this committee will be the drivers to recruit individual and local businesses to register and participate in the day. You'll have an opportunity to volunteer on event day and celebrate all of your hard work. We would love to have you join us and help deliver a special event day for all who have been touched by breast cancer.

Your volunteer time in between meetings will be determined by what you commit to throughout the year. To learn more, please reach out to your local staff partner, Jenifer Weiss at jweiss@komen.org.
We are ready for you to join today!

ONE in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. When you raise your hand to help today you’re joining ONE community, united and committed to ending breast cancer forever.

Discover the nationwide impact of this community, and witness the difference we can make together when we raise ONE more dollar, take ONE more step, and share ONE more story.

Every 12 minutes in the U.S., breast cancer takes a life.
ONE person can make a difference.
