Volunteers can choose from programs including Companions (Non-medical Friendly Visiting), Music Companions (live or recorded music for entertainment), Together We Serve (teams of 2I) patient visits, Love on Leashes Pet Team, or We Honor Veterans. As pandemic restrictions ease, volunteers in all geographic areas are needed.
No experience is necessary. Training and support are provided. While some visits are restricted due to the pandemic, other requests for volunteers are fully open and available. This is the perfect opportunity to join our volunteer teams. We serve patients at home or in Skilled Nursing Care, in 16 counties of the greater Chicago area. Volunteer assignments are close to where you live or work at hours convenient to you.
