Location Description

This 71,000-acre park features sand dunes, beech/maple and pine/oak forests, rivers, inland lakes, miles of Lake Michigan beach, two offshore islands, historic farming district, a lighthouse, two campgrounds and 105 miles of hiking trails.

Position Description:

Campground Hosts serve in D.H. Day Campground or Platter River Campgrounds. Hosts assist rangers in all facets of managing campground operations, interact with visitors, answer questions, make periodic rounds and generally be a good resource for our visitors and campers.

Opportunity Time frame:

April through October, we ask that hosts work a minimum of two months in this opportunity .

Benefits:

Free campsites available for a minimum of 32 hours of work/week -- Campsites have water/electric hook-ups only, (no sewer), dump station is available. Uniforms provided.

End Date - 2022-10-01
