Technology Research Services (TRS) is a nonprofit corporation recognized as a 501C3 charitable organization. TRS focuses on innovative technology based on new and existing research. The company’s core business model focuses on identifying causes impacting our lives, establishing or investigating the needed research, and commercializing the technology needed to make an immediate impact on society. This approach is based on a research-to-rapid prototyping methodology where emphasis is based on short term innovative solutions through the implementation of technology.
TRS was Founded in 2008 and reorganized in 2012, as an education based innovator. Our staff and support team combines industry and academia to identify the latest technology through student-lead research while collaborating with industry leaders to produce solutions impactful to the end-users.
The Android Mobile App Developer will be a part of a development team focused on an existing mobile application designed for educational collaboration & training. The overall development objective is to optimize the existing modified open-source development and deploying a more robust variation of its current form. The development aspect of the collaboration app is to provide cross-platform build functionality compatible with both Android and iOS via Flutter or REACT Native build tools. The goal of this development team is to collaboratively work with other developers tasked with developing the collaboration app. The app’s development is critical to the long term sustainment and funding of research attributable to advancing the science and knowledge of Assistive Technology and early warning/early detection solutions for individuals challenged with Traumatic Brain Injury, Dementia, PTSD or other possible cross-compatible domains with core relativity to assistive technology for the impaired.
The welcomed candidate should have a winning attitude, willing to work with cross-functional teams, willing to share findings, meet deadlines/milestones, and have interest in philanthropy.
Candidates sought should have experience in some OR all of the following: software development, software integration, web-based software solutions, software deployment, and mobile software solutions. Participants in this program will be required to use GitHub for open development collaboration. A thorough understanding and experience in GitHub will be required. The following volunteers are needed:
