ProduceGood has exciting news...we are expanding our NEW Grocery Gleaning program to Jimbo's in Carmel Valley!

You will be helping us divert food from landfills to feed those in need by sorting through and rescuing fresh produce that cannot be sold at Jimbo's, the local grocery market.

We are seeking to build a team of 4-6 volunteers from Carmel Valley, Del Mar, and the surrounding area to help us launch this exciting new program.

Prior to the volunteer's arrival, Jimbo's staff will set aside fruits and vegetables unfit for sale (partially damaged, cosmetic issues, "ugly", etc.). Volunteers will sort edible produce from produce that will be sent to compost. Volunteers will then transport the rescued bounty (~200 pounds) to a local feeding agency.
