ORGANIZATION: Newington Green Alliance

  • 4 people are interested

Role

The NGA Fundraising group seeks volunteers to write fundraising application for grant funding to support Newington Green Alliance's hyperlocal community building work.

Fundraising volunteers work as part of the supportive NGA Fundraising Team. Funding opportunities are managed on our bespoke fundraising database (an app based in Podio). Grant Fundraisers use information from the upcoming projects and ongoing programmes of NGA and tailor their grants to the funders requirements. The process involves completing forms, writing letters/emails, contacting funders and liaising with other team members to start, track and complete applications

Training is provided.

Skills

You should have basic admin experience with emails, and IT systems (Google workspace and Podio experience desirable, but otherwise a willingness to learn these). Experience writing previous applications desirable but not essential.

You need to have a keen eye for detail, a flair for writing inspiration persuasive copy, regular access to a computer to access the systems and our Google based applications repository. You need to be able to work to a deadline flexible enough to handle a frequently changing project and funding landscape.
