NGA's project are led by individual project teams. A key role in each team is a Team Leader, the person who brings the team together, helps them to work together effectively, support individual team members, leads meetings, represents the project to senior management, and interacts with the core functional groups that support the projects in funding, technology, communications, etc.

If you have the skills, interest and time for such a role, there are a variety of projects at all different stages that need you.

For this role, you should have experience leading teams, managing volunteers, project management tools, facilitation, and leading meetings. You should be a person who communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, manages frustration well, is able to respond quickly when needed, has good IT skills, and knows how to get the best out of a team.
