As a volunteer, you will interact with donors as they relax in the canteen and recover from their donation. Your goal is to help the donors schedule their next donation before they leave. This helps to encourage on-going donations and maintain a steady blood supply for the community. Computer skills are needed to complete the scheduling. The volunteers are needed to cover shifts during the operating hours of the blood bank. They are scheduled for a few hours at a time for as many days as they are available to be scheduled!
Volunteer your time with the Blood Bank of Delmarva and make a difference in your life, the lives of the donors, and the patients getting the lifesaving blood they need.
All volunteers must be 18 years of age and have their own transportation.
