Every Tuesday and Friday afternoon, we are hoping to offer a cup of tea and some cookies to our brand-new moms at University of Colorado Hospital. We want to remind them to take a moment, enjoy a warm, comforting beverage and take care of themselves.
This volunteer role will happen in pairs. You will gather together the items for the tea cart, offer tea and cookies on the Mom/Baby unit, and then pick up the plates and cups to return to our kitchen. You will need understanding, compassion, and excellent people skills as well as the desire to make that moment "special" for each new mom.
