Come join a creative team of Asian cinema fans dedicated to exhibition and appreciation of Asian film culture in all its forms. For the 20th anniversary of the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF), we have an open position for our Social Media Leader. Help us engage with loyal and new fans to celebrate 20 years of the best and boldest Asian cinema in New York.

Key responsibilities

• Review and refresh NYAFF’s social media strategy
• Create content and schedule in collaboration with a team of volunteers
• Monitor social media metrics

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to collaborate in a diverse team
• Familiarity with monitoring metrics
• Excellent time management skills and interpersonal skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, their unique audiences and how to use them to maximize branding and marketing efforts
• Knowledge of analytics software, content management systems and SEO tools is a plus.
• Affinity with Asian cinema and filmmaking a plus
