With year-round festivals and programs (including the annual New York Asian Film Festival), NYAFF aims to bring wide audience and critical attention to contemporary and classic Asian cinema in the U.S.

New York Asian Film Foundation is America’s leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the exhibition and appreciation of Asian popular film culture in all its forms, with year-round festivals and programs, and a view to building bridges between Asia and the West. The New York Asian Film Foundation’s other events and initiatives include the Winter Series and special screenings like the anime marathon of Cowboy Bebop. The annual New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) has been presented in collaboration with the Film Society of Lincoln Center since 2010. Now entering its 20th year, NYAFF is North America’s leading festival of popular Asian cinema.
