Primary Focus: Organize, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the volunteer experience

Responsibilities:

  • Work to actively recruit new volunteers
  • Assess volunteer skills, interests, availability, and reliability for best assignment
  • Maintain regular communication with volunteers
  • Schedule and supervise volunteers
  • Promote strong team culture
  • Build relationships with volunteers
  • Provide ongoing training and support
  • Establish and maintain methods of appreciation in conjunction with leadership
  • Evaluate volunteer satisfaction
  • Work with marketing and communications to develop content for social media to recognize volunteer contributions

Poiema is a movement to restore women from brokenness. We stand in the gap for women affected by addiction, incarceration, intimate partner abuse, trafficking, homelessness, or other major life crisis. We see a world where every woman is valued, purposed, and empowered.

Description

Our 12-month restorative program provides a safe place to live, mentorship, program classes, recovery groups, and assistance to obtain employment, to help women survivors live a transformed, restored, and independent life.
