Mission Statement
Poiema is a movement to restore women from brokenness. We stand in the gap for women affected by addiction, incarceration, intimate partner abuse, trafficking, homelessness, or other major life crisis. We see a world where every woman is valued, purposed, and empowered.
Description
Our 12-month restorative program provides a safe place to live, mentorship, program classes, recovery groups, and assistance to obtain employment, to help women survivors live a transformed, restored, and independent life.

When you volunteer to be a prayer partner or a mentor, the staff of the Poiema Movement makes sure every woman is equipped. The volunteers have the opportunity to attend classes and the other volunteers are her support system. No one is ever left alone to figure things out in any role they participant in. Poiema Movement shows the love of the Father to everyone involved.

Poiema provides a safe space and The care, love, and respect shown to the women in this program is amazing. Volunteers get hands on experience in guiding women through motivation and praise in order to accomplish their goals while also experiencing fulfillment in their roles.
