The Role
Volunteers are needed to help us set up, unload and pack client meals, and support delivery volunteers and staff at the Meals on Wheels West office. As a Operations Volunteer you will help us setup tents and tables, pack meals into delivery bags, unload frozen meals and placing them into freezers, support delivery volunteers with carrying delivery bags and placing them in their cars, and help with the clean up and sanitizing of delivery bags.
When Do We Need Help?
- We are currently in need of Operations Volunteers on Monday-Friday, from 9am-2pm
- Additionally, we are in need of consistent volunteers who can help us more for than one day; we will work with your schedule

Requirements
- Available to volunteer with us for more than one day.
- All volunteers undergo a mandatory background check (takes approximately 3-5 days).
Additional Notes
-Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are our delivery days; 9am-12pm on these days are the most critical hours during the shift when volunteers set up, unload and pack client meals, and distribute meals to volunteers
