ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

Volunteer at Kenneaw Mountain National Battlefield Park!

Kennesaw Mountain NBP is located 25 miles northwest of Atlanta, Georgia. This National Battlefield preserves 2,965 acres of a Civil War battleground of the Atlanta Campaign. Opposing forces maneuvered and found at this location from June 19, 1964 until July 2, 1964. Although most famous as a Civil War battlefield, Kennesaw Mountain has a much richer story.

The Park is looking for motivated individuals willing to help us make a change and assist the visiting public.

Volunteers will provide local and historical information to visitors traveling to the historic mountain top. In addition to the scripted shuttle bus program, volunteers will greet visitors, providing historical information, and providing additional park information.
